Babies on the Brain

Charting Question - Laying in bed.

This morning, I woke up about 40 minutes before I would normally take my temperature, but instead of taking my temp then, I laid awake until the normal time I temped.

Not really sure why and I didn't get out of bed, but I wondered if this could affect the accuracy of my temp as I believe I ovulated 3 days ago but my temp dropped below my coverline today?

Thanks!

  • Yes, I believe it can. ?Read the FF tutorials.

  • It can affect it. Just take your temp when you first wake up, being off by 30-40 minutes isn't that big a deal.
  • That can affect it from what I know.  I'd just temp when you first wake up.

  • It would affect it, but it seems to me it would be higher instead of lower. Your temp starts rising from the moment you wake, so if you were awake 40 minutes, you should have a higher temp.

    I agree with this.
