Trying to switch to formula. Help!

I have EP'ed and I want to give DD one bottle of formula a day to try to transition to formula by 10 months.

So, we started tonight. We gave her a bottle with 4 oz of bm and 2 oz of formula. She refused to drink it. We tried both Similac and Enfamil Gentlease. Any suggestions?

We had to supplement, and Nestle GoodStart was the rec of our hospital and pedi. We have had no problems going back and forth between this and BF/ EBM.

Try using a sippy cup instead.

I second Nestle Goodstart. My LC's have said this is the easiest transition for BF'ers.

I use similac and had the same problem. When I asked my ped he said that if you are just adding one bottle don't mix bm and formula because it is like adding milk to spaghetti sauce and it doesn't taste very well. So I started doing my bm bottles and formula bottles seperate and she now eats like a champ!!!
