Bumbo seats?

I know there was a recall on them a while ago, I mean just over a year ago, so I'm still nervous to try one out. Any moms like them/hate them? Any insight would be great! TIA!

It's my understanding that the recall was to update the labeling to not use them on a raised surface (duh) never leave child unattended (duh). DD enjoys her's because she is at the stage where she is sick of laying down a lot but can't yet sit up on her own.The bumbo lets her sit how she would prefer.
