I am looking for toddler plates for the kids but everything that I've found at BabiesRUs is made of melamine. Have you found an alternative? I don't want that stuff leeching into their food.
How bought melamine bpa free plates ? That is what we have.
We also use the bamboo forks and knives
Melamine on its own is a nasty chemical
Wasnt the Melanine found in traceable amounts in pet food awhile back? (Well aside from the tainted wheat gluten) I would avoid Melanine plates if possible. How about cute wooden bowls (bamboo) or maybe look into heatable tupperware type stuff? Let us know if you find something...I want to do some research on this.
