Cleaning pacis

So I frequently wash DD's pacifiers with hot/soapy water and then put them in the germ guardian..my dad mentioned something about still water being in them after I wash them.  I squeeze as much water as I can from them and figure they just dry out or she sucks the droplets.  Do I have to worry about that? Is there a mold issue or something that I'm missing?

    Not sure but also dont know how to avoid it. After washing DD's paci's it still sqeaks when she sucks on it for a while due to liquid inside it (Im assuming)

    We use Mam's and I've also noticed they get water in them. I just squeeze as much out as I can and then let them air dry. If she needs it right away, I give it to her still wet.
