Anyone start cereal with Gerbers organic Brown Rice?

I haven't asked pedi yet but I am just curious if brown rice is as safe as white for first food.

    Everything I've read says to only offer brown rice to babies for the nutritional benefits. I made my own rice cereal just using the organic brown rice DH and I eat. Good luck!

    I started w/ brown rice.  It was earth's best but it was brown.   White rice is refined and brown rice is the whole grain.  More nutritious and less processed.  I think it is fine.  I never asked my pedi but the box said it was great for first food.  Good Luck!!

    We used this. I didn't ask my pedi first but my Nutritionist DH didn't worry, so I figured it was okay ;D
