My son is turning 3 in a few weeks and I want to make train cookies for a favor. I've been searching the net like crazy, but can't find any tips/suggestions.
If anyone out there has any tips/advise- please let me know. I saw one girls website (cookiemamma) and her icing is so shiny I love it.
TIA
Cathy
Re: Making Cookies for a favor- any suggestions?
I am sure if you google Thomas the Train parties, (not that Thomas is yout theme) there should be something to guide you.
My husband and I made cookies as our wedding favor. We got the easy Betty Crocker kind where you just add a few ingredients.
At Walmart, we found little clear celophane bags that perfectly fit 2 cookies in each bag. We cut the tops off with scissors and "sealed" them with double sided tape and a sticker. Then on the front we attached a personalized business card I had made at vistaprint.com.
They weren't very expensive to do, and everyone LOVED them. You could easily do the same with a train sticker on the back and a picture of a train on the front of the bag.

Thank you so much for you ideas. I have two more questions (hope you don't mind) Were your cookies shaped like anything? and did you ice them?
Thanks Again!
Thanks! I've been searching the net like crazy, it can really make you crazy :0)
Thanks again for replying to me and I LOVE the pictures of your little man! Too cute.
