Sad goodbye...

to my belly button ring. Oh, small diamond-like stud, that has been part of my abdomen for the past 10 years, from the moment that you sounded like such a good idea and were so cool on my college cheerleader midriff, to the past couple of years, when you really weren't so cool anymore on my not so in shape tummy, but I held on to you, until today, when I feel that you no longer have a place on my bloated, soon to be rapidly expanding belly. All that is there to remind me, are 2 small holes, which I'm sure will be 2 ugly stretched scars soon, a memorial to my days before pregnancy.?

I hope everyone has had a good Saturday! It's been a lazy, great one for me! ?

i know how you feel - i've had mine for 10 years too and i'm mortified of what that scar is going to look like... but you have inspired me, i think today is as good of a day as any to take it out... i guess we aren't teenagers anymore!! we can grow ugly scars together!
