Hutch/Dresser Combo?

is the hutch attached to the dresser or is it separate?  can you purchase the dresser without the hutch portion? 

i love a few dressers, but they have that hutch attached to them (only been looking online so far) and i don't want the hutch!  TIA!

    a hutch is a separate piece of furniture that you can use with the dresser. i'm choosing not to get one becuase i wasnt one of the lower dressers so i can use it as a changing table as well

    They are separate and sometimes you have to buy the hutch in addition to the dresser.

    Our hutch is separate, and we will just keep the shelves higher when we use it as a changing table.

    ditto, pp.  We got the hutch and there is plenty of space between the dresser and shelves to use it as a changing table.
