I knew this was coming. I bet she's even said sorry that it all got out. Women in abusive relationships are usually the last to know. It's sad. I had a friend in an abusive relationship and it took a few years before she got out- before she even wanted to get out. I hope this doesn't negatively affect other young women. Oh, and not that I ever did before, but I certainly won't purchase anything that has to do with Chris Brown, and I hope others do the same. Yes, everyone makes mistakes and whatnot, but beating a woman- hell no! His career deserves to be ended, especially since she obviously won't be pressing charges.

I figured they would. I would bet that 90% of couples like this get back together at least a couple of times. He is likely playing the "sorry, it will never happen again" card and she still loves him and wants to believe him. Really sad for her, because he probably will be abusive again.

Hopefully the DA there will prosecute him without her. Wasn't there a witness who saw her right after? And a 911 call? And he was arrested so the police can ID him in trial. They should go for it.

on the extra today they were saying that people have stopped buying his stuff and that radio stations have been having callers call in and say please do not play Chris brown stuff. so it is forsure affecting his career.. and i agree Rhianna should not take him back it is a bad role model for girls..

I'm disappointed too, but not because I think she's a role model; she isn't. She's a pop star. I feel bad that she apparently needs to be loved so badly she forgives a guy who hits her. I don't think she should be chastised, but I do hope she gets out for good before he hurts her again, for her own sake.
