Tap/filtered water or bottled for formula??

We haven't started FF yet, but will in a week or so. ?I know they say you can use tap water (which I would not because I don't even drink tap water). ?But...do you use your filtered water (like out of the fridge)? ?Or do you use the nursery water?

  • All f the above are fine.  No flouride water and tap is perfectly fine.  Just let it run for 30 seconds before using it.

  • we use just regluar bottled drinking water. i wouldn't use our tap water even if it was filtered lol. they say not to use nursery water bc the flouride in it is bad for the baby's teeth.
  • We use water from the fridge, I fill the bottles for the next day with water and let them sit on the counter so they are room temp.

  • We put a filter on the tap.  It is nice because you can make it warm very easily!
  • We have a water cooler with the 5 gallon jugs - we use that.

my pedi actually told me to use it in order for her to get fluoride for her teeth

    I think I read somewhere that nursery water wasn't recommended - but I don't remember where/why.

  • We use boiled filtered tap water. ?Soon we'll just use either filtered water or regular bottled water. ?

As for the fluoride thing, I think it's babies over 6 months need some, but before that it's bad for babies teeth.?
