I will apologize in advance for this post!! My husband is out of town, so we can't really chat, and I can't test till he gets back (he would want to be there). So, I have to talk to somebody, who better than you all!

We are planning to officially start ttc our 2nd child begining in March. I have been off birth control for 3 months (the plan was to use condoms until March). I don't chart, but do "track" my ovulation. I always have EWCM and ovulation cramps (got preg. with first child this way). Last month I didn't have ewcm or ovulation cramps when expected. Didn't think to much about it since we weren't ttc. Anyways, we bd'd on Valentines Day (without a condom, oops!). No big deal since we were about to stop using condoms anyways. Which was technically 5 days after I "usually" ovulate. Well, the Monday after Valentines I had EWCM and ovulation cramps (so 2 days after we bd'd). So I believe I ovulated 1 week later than normal (usually have 30 day cycle). I expected my period last Monday (if I was on normal schedule) but it didn't come, which if I ovulated late It is not due until this Monday.

Since ovulation I have had cramps after orgasm (sorry tmi) and at 9 & 10 dpo been slighty crampy (doesn't happen before period, but did with my last pregnancy.) I have also been really short tempered. These things happened around this time with my last pregnancy.

So here I am 11 dpo (i think) thinking I may be pregnant and can't test or talk to my husband (he is out of town on a business trip). I am not asking if you think I am pregnant. Just bored and wanted to share my insanity. I guess if I am not pregnant I may go see my Gyn. to be all is well, since the above symptoms are abnormal for me.

    I can't test because my husband is out of town and I think he really would want to be here when I do test. He is wierd like that!! Trust me, I really want to, and have tests! Trying to fight off the urge!!

    Ahhh, I see. Okay, sorry. Insert "SEX" wherever I said BD. I was used to using bd from BOTB (it's been a few years). Nice to be around "big girls". Thanks for the clarification.

    GL when you do test, I would just cave in a do it and then plan a nice little coming home surprise for him if it is a BFP

    I thought about doing that and suprising him. Maybe a shirt on my daughter that reads "I am going to be a big sister" or something. I still might cave. He comes home tomorrow night. Any good suprise ideas?

    I would test without him and dress your DC in a I'm going to be a big brother/sister shirt for when he gets home. I think that would be a great homecoming for him...Good luck to you!!

    I know this is bad advice, but if I were you I would test.  I've seen many charts in FF with BFP at 10 dpo.

    When did we stop using BD?  I appreciate ppl using BD seeing as how I am at work.  I would assume sex triggers some sort of filter or something for IT.

    we haven't used BD in quite awhile, however there are still some that do ?

    I think you should hold off on POAS, if that's what you want to do. There are lots of BFPs at 10 DPO. However, DH is coming home tomorrow night and if you can wait until then without going too crazy, you may want to stick to your original plan. Just my opinion. Either way, good luck.

    Go POAS, if you get a BFP *fingers crossed* you can plan a big suprise for your DH. If you get a BFN, don't tell your DH you tested and retest again when he's home. Also, remember that every cycle is different, one month you may have some symptoms and the next you may have some other ones. Good Luck!

    You girls are so bad!! Thanks for all the responses! If I change my mind, I won't be able to POAS until tonight (I am at work). But I will post if it is a BFP.
