NTTTCR: I just spent 2 hrs in the ER

A friend of mine fell down her icy front stairs and dislocated her shoulder. The entire city is covered under an inch or two of ice, and as she fell down the stairs she tried to grab the railing....which pulled her shoulder right out.

The worst is that I watched them pull it back in (it was nasty), she didn't have any meds and was such a trooper, didn't even cry or scream. She looked like she was gonna pass out and puke, but did really well.

  • Trooper indeed.  I've dislocated my shoulder 5 times.  Yep - not a typo - 5 times, so I can quite literally feel her pain!  The good part is that the relief is instant!
  • OUCH!! She is a trooper.
