So we are going to our first and the BIG ultrasound today! Which we are thrilled about! DH had his facebook status to boy or girl finding out today! and one of his stupid highschool friends says does it matter your life is over now!

So I was nervous to begin with about this big appt and now and I feel just down! I hope everything goes well today!

His friend sounds like an immature asshat. Although, I'm probably just being too sensitive, like you. ;-) Guys tend to poke fun at each other, even in their 30's (my DH is like a big kid).

I would have a hard time being nice, and probably would be tempted to leave a comment along the lines of, "I guess our lives would 'be over' if they involved working minimum wage jobs, living with mom & dad, partying constantly, and lazing around watching TV and Facebooking all day... but, you know, we've grown up and out of that, thank God!"
