Wear Pink Tomorrow for Syndey and Carynne
I am not sure if this board has been following the story of DoubleWhammy (Brook). She is a fellow MoM (Mother of Multiples) and Nestie that just a few weeks ago discovered her identical twin girls had SMA type 1.
On Sunday and Monday Brook lost her sweet baby girls, Sydney and Carynne to this terrible disease. Their funerals are tomorrow, which is also the day they would be six months old.
The MoM's on the Multiple board are reaching out to our fellow nesties on other boards and asking for your support.
Let's pay tribute to these sweet, beautiful girls by wearing pink tomorrow. A pink scarf, pink socks, a pink shirt. Whatever you have, wear it!
And while we're at it, let's help try to find a cure for SMA by signing the Petition to Cure SMA. SMA is the number one genetic killer of children under the age of 2.
Brook and her husband have shown tremendous strength during this time of grief and sorrow. Please help us let them know we are all thinking of them tomorrow as they lay their little ones to rest. Thank you for your time!
