DS has 8 teeth, which teeth come next?

I think he might be getting 2 more on the top - maybe molars?  How many baby teeth do they get overall?  I'm hoping the teething will be over soon...

    holy crap! we are just beginning to see the bottom 2 and possibly 1 on top poke through!

    We have 8 teeth too! DS is teething again but he won't let me look in to see what's going on in there.  I would guess it's the ones next to the first 4 on the top or bottom...?

    The next ones are the molars.  DD got her bottom ones and then the top ones.  There will be a gap between the current teeth and the molars.  That's for the canine teeth which will come in after the molars.

    Be warned...molars are the devil  but I hear that canine teeth are even worse! Devil

    So, why is DS's upper gum swollen right where canine teeth would come in?  He doesn't have any teeth up there yet, but it really looks like he's developing fangs...
