I have super fertile friends....

My BFF is pregnant with her first.  She knows when she ovulates.  She and her DH had sex once without a condom. 

Another friend and her DH from back home are pregnant with their second baby.  They had sex once unprotected to achieve each pregnancy.  She is one of those super outspoken people who told everyone they had sex without a condom and said "OMG I bet I'm pregnant".  I was sceptical...it can't be that easy.  Apparently it can be for my friends!!

THEN one of my bridesmaids and her DH decided to start trying.  They had sex twice without a condom.  She feels her ovulation.  She ovulated right after they had sex the second time.  She is pregnant!!!

My sister and BIL tried for one month and she got pregnant.

One of DH's best friends and his wife tried for two months.  She is pregnant with their first.

So NOW I have a sister in law who is freaking out because she and my BIL had unprotected sex this week and she thinks she is ovulating.  They have never done that before in the 6 years they have been together.  Am I crazy to think this may result in a pregnancy?  I guess I am the token IF person in my group of friends.

    I hate that that's the normal way to get pg.  :(  It's supposed to be so easy, right?  I mean that's why we have what we have.  I hate IF, it may be the only thing I actually do hate.

    It's hard when others have it so easy. It's like they take it for granted. I would love another one, but think that we'll be doing some IF treatments again, and then there is people who have one and that is it for them, and they could get pg no problem, they just don't get it.

    My SIL told me the officially started trying on Jan 1st of 08. She was wanting to have a baby for a few months but her DH wasn't quite that ready. Okay so Jan 1st, and in mid-feb they accounced their pregnancy. I couldn't believe my ears.

    And she also gave birth right on her due date. What the helll are the chances. What 5%?

    I hate when my fertile friends/family get pregnant their first month trying and then rub it in your face.  At least that's how it feels - I'm sure they don't do it on purpose.  I also hate when they announce it to the world and start painting the nursery the day they are late.  Or they want a fill-in-the-month-baby so they have sex once and boom, due that month.Confused

    It's just not fair!  Thank gawd I have one IF friend I can vent to every now and then.  She stopped by yesterday with her 1 y.o. to see Conor and me.  Her and her H did two frozen cycles since her DS was born - both ended in m/c's.  They're done with IF and everything that goes along with it.  I feel awful for her.  Oh how I wish she was one who got pg. their first month trying...

    I sometimes actually forget people get PG having sex. My sisters are all super fertile. My oldest sister plans what month she wants her next baby to be born in and when she is ready, she's pregnant.

     Still bitter that its so difficult for some!
