First of all, I don't want to hear opinions on the name and how it's made up. My mn is Kay, DH's mn is Lynn. We're combining it to use for DC's mn, and that's that.
That being said, if you combined Kay and Lynn into one name, and you didn't spell it Kaylynn (too many ys and ns imo), how would you spell it??

I like the name regardless of the spelling. I agree that Kaylynn has two "y" and it looks like a lot but it's really not bad IMO. I know someone using Kailyn.
I guess it depends if you want the name to sound like your mn's or if you want it to look like your mn's together. Good luck!
