I am also new here (kinda.) Been lurking for a while. DS is almost 4 months old and I am a teacher who is taking at least a year off. You ladies have helped me with his schedule and other things many times already!

    DH & I both were born and raised in Austin, TX and recently relocated to San Francisco, CA for his career.  Nice to have another fellow Texan in the mix!   :)

    I've mostly taught 4th grade, but have worked with 3rd and 5th a lot too. ?

    I think I would really enjoy 5th graders. I do like 6th graders (even though the hormones are crazy.) They still get excited about science.

    My hats are off to you teachers!  I substituted some before I had dd and that job is SO not for me!  I admire anyone who teaches for a living!
