Sleeper question

Everone is telling me to by gowns and sleepers for baby.

Question baby is due in July and it will be hot sleepers have feet on them and long sleeves will they be to hot? if yes what to buy than?

    we did not put DS in sleepers until the fall.  He wore onsies and a swaddle blanket his whole first summer.

    I am due in July and we have tons of sleepers and gowns for him.  Even though t will be hot out, soemtimes we go out and do things at night and baby might get chilly, or sometimes they are still comfy to sleep in a sleeper or gown at night.  Can't say for sure, this will be my first summer newborn.  I would have a few at least I think.

    With DS I loved the long gowns with little mits on them so he couldnt scratch himself...
