Update--Should I hope?

Yep... we got a positive!  Dearest hubby couldn't wait any longer so at 5:30 this morning he ran out and bought a test for me. 

I guess a secondary confirmation would be that I threw up last night and my breasts hurt like a somofbitch this morning.  If that ain't pregnant.. I don't know!

Thanks for all the encouragement, ladies.  Time to call the babydoc and get the official word.

Think I'll be headed over to the Pregnant after 35 board now!

    Yep.. 41 and no drugs.   Because of my hubby's very strong Cath beliefs, we decided we wouldn't go to any extraordinary measures to have a family.   Adoption options are on the table for 2009, and I was just starting to look at that stuff.  Besides, I have a TON of friends doing IVF and I've seen the hell they're going through.  To me, it's not worth it.  But that's just me.

    My first pregancy was in late 2007 and was a blighted ovum, so I'm still trying not to get all worked up and happy yet.  I m/ced at 5-6 weeks with no heartbeat or anything, so I want to see something this time before I get excited.  My eggs may be past their expiration date, so until I see some little critter in there waving his little arms and legs at me, we're being very cautiously optimistic.
