NBR - B-Pics - Photog Suggestions?

So - DH and I have been married almost 3 years and his birthday is a month after our anniversary.  I'm seriously thinking about doing b-pics as a little surprise.  I have a terrible time searching the boards for old posts, so can anyone recommend photographers?

    Bobbi did mine (loved how they turned out but she's $$$), Erin Hession did Shauna's and they're FAB.

    Hmmm, I'm sure there are others but those are the best IMO.

     Were you girls nervous??  I'm super nervous about it b/c I've gained weight from the baby, definitely not what I used to be, etc.  I'm sure they help you feel much more comfortable, don't they?

    I was a teensy bit nervous, but that faded pretty quickly. Bobbi likes to play a lot of loud music so that helps. My house was fuh-REEZING though, and that made me shivery the whole time. Sorry, not sure that's relevant...

    I did mine with Bobbi and LOVED them and it was so much fun doing them. Though her prices are a lot higher than they were almost 2 years ago when I got mine done.

    I was a little nervous at first, but Bobbi has an up beat personality and so easy to talk to. We did my session at a Bed and Breakfast downtown and we had so much fun listening to loud music and running all over the suite.

    Thanks for all of the info!  I looked at Bobbi's prices and they're not that much more than Erin's.  I'm going to email them both to see what their schedules are like.  I would not be doing them at my house, so I'm interested to see where they suggest also.  The more I think about it, the more fun I think it'll be!

    Oooh, I forgot that I paid Bobbi for travel to Michigan. That made the price skyrocket.

    I liked Erin and her assistant a lot.  I was very happy with what I got for what I paid--that being said, I did get in on a half price deal that she was running.  I will say this though, Erin was pretty tame as far as poses and such.  My pics aren't quite as hawt as I thought they'd be even though she did make me look great.  (I had some baby bloat that I was worried about but she totally hid it.)

    I'm not going to lie - I was incredibly nervous at first. I hadn't met Bobbi before our session and only communicated via email. The nervousness was quickly forgotten, though! Bobbi is a very personable woman. She has a very relaxed and outgoing personality and I felt very comfortable! Like Lauren said, we played music loudly the whole time and she definitely helped to guide me into poses/positions that were the most flattering for my body. She'll tell you if you've got a roll going and need to suck it in Wink

    She kept saying "Holy SH*T! Your husband is going to crap his pants when he sees these" and stuff like that! So, I actually started to feel pretty confident Smile It was a great experience!

    And she was right, Abe loved them! Still does, actually!
