4 year old (experience type) birthday gift

I need a gift by Sunday, so I don't have time order anything online.  Tillman is going to a friend's birthday party and the mom said that they are trying to scale back on all the toys, so a gift certificate for an experience is what she would prefer.  Any suggestions?  She mentioned The Bouncy Place, but I'd like to do something more original than that since they live 2 minutes away from there and go often.  I don't want to spend a lot of money.  My first thought was to adopot a pet from the zoo, but that would take more than a few days to get all the stuff and giving it late is just lame for a 4 year old.

TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.

  • What about the Children's Museum either in Seattle or Factoria?  There's a Curious George exhibit at the Seattle one right now that I really want to go to.

You could also look at the Tiny Tots program at the Seattle Symphony and see if you can buy single tickets for that.  That's a lot of fun with the little ones.

Or maybe a gift cert to Build a Bear or something like that?  Or a gift cert for one of those paint your own pottery things?

I love that the mom said they dont' need anything but then didnt just say "no gifts please!"  what a pain in the butt.
