kat is 7+ months and takes 2 4 oz bottles at daycare, sometimes 3. i nurse her in the middle of the day, so i think she takes a lot then, and i nurse her in the morning and evenings. she is 18+lbs
DD is 9 months and maybe 17lbs (not sure). She's BFed, and has bottles of BM at daycare. She gets 2 4.5oz bottles. She BFs once in the morning and twice in evening. I have no idea how much she takes in those sessions.
My DS is BF, but during the day with my husband he would only take 4-5 oz per feeding between the ages of 4 months old and 8 months old. He's in the 95th percentile for weight. Things that helped him eat more throughout the day:
Reverse cycling - he would eat all night to make up for what he didn't get during the day
Eat more often - instead of going every 3 hours between feeding he would go every 2 hours (sometimes even less)
Solids - once he started solids he could stretch out his feedings and he started upping his ounces a little bit (5-6 oz)
Faster flow nipple - this helped him go from 3-4 oz to 6 oz
Age - Now at 10 mos he eats 7-8 oz (he's probably close to 24 lbs)
Eating in stages - He has a hard time eating 7-8 oz all at once, so my DH gives him 4 oz, then lets him play for 10 min in his crib, then gives him the remaining amount that he wants/needs.
Quiet room - my DS gets distracted easily so we have to feed him in a quiet dark room to get him to focus.
YES!!!? 11 months on Sunday, and as of three weeks ago only 17 lbs 12 oz!? We've been giving her more solids and her percentile went from 10% to 25%, but she's still a lightweight--and in the 75th percentile for height.? But Dr. and everyone says she's fine.? I just see kids in daycare eating way more. 6 - 8 oz regularly!? In a day, she gets between 15 - 18 oz at daycare and then I b.f. her a lot in the a.m. and a little in the p.m. so I estimate she gets around 25 - 28 oz??
I make DS a 6oz bottle but he usually will leave about an ounce in the bottle. his feeding in hte middle of the night however is a 7oz bottle and he eats the whoel things. He also will drink up to 10oz between 2 diff bottles the hour before going to bed.

DS has been taking 5 oz. bottles of BM (I EP) for months. Sometimes at night he'll take 6-7 oz. but that's it. When I offer more, he just stops at 5 oz.
My son is a little over 9 months and drinks 20-25oz a day of formula. It is a struggle some days and he rarely drinks more than 5oz at a time. I try to mix in a good portion with his cereal and he loves his fruits and veggies so he gets a lot of water from those. I just think they get bored with "milk" when there are so many different tastes out there.
DS eats 25-30 oz a day in BM and formula plus 3 meals a day where he eats between 2-3 oz. He is 12lbs 9oz at 8 months, I think he is too small, but the dr. doesn't seem to have a problem. Funny thing is I just asked this question on the preemie board. DS is below the 3rd percentile for weight, but for height he was at the 5th percentile.
my baby girl just turn 6months last sunday she takes 2 bottles of 5oz to daycare and now eats cereal in the morning than has a bottle but hardly ever finishes the whole thing at once and than she eats fruit and has the 2nd bottle probably around 2 or 2:30 and when i pick her up I breastfeed her again. I thought i was the only one whose baby didnt eat much... i feel better now... i really think she makes up when she eats in the middle of the night...
Yes! DD was breastfed until 10 months old & never took more than 5oz at a time. She would drink three 5oz bottles at daycare and breastfeed twice more while at home.
She's now on formula and still won't take more than 5 oz at a time. She drinks 4 bottles a day and is 11 months old now.

Makenna rarely eats more than 4-5 oz at one time, she has:
4 oz at 9am
5 oz bottle at noon
4 oz bottle at 3pm
6 oz bottle before bed
4 oz once in the middle of the night
So I guess she drinks 20-24 oz per day, which is what she should be getting at her age. She is almost 10 months and weighs just over 18 lbs.
DS is BF, so I'm not sure what he gets total, but he gets two bottles while I'm at work - both 6 oz and he finishes them both.
He's 6 mo. and is just under the 50% or so - just under 16 lbs.
