We don't have a family doctor at the moment - I always go to the clinic on the campus I work at and DH, well, he just goes to a clinic whenever there's something wrong. Now that we're expecting, I'm on the search for a Family Doctor. But I'm wondering if I should also get a Pediatrician or just have the family doctor. The downside is we will not have had the doctor for very long so we won't know how good he or she really is with us let alone our baby... Any suggestions????
Oh and I'm Rebecca - I just entered my second trimester and I look forward to chatting with all of you! ?
Re: Family Doctor and Pediatrician??
I'll probably just do a Pediatrician for my children. I get my cholesterol checked at my yearly GYN visits and I know they'll start doing mamograms once the time comes. I go to an ENT for bad things like flu or ear infections.
Hubby is a fireman so they have physicians on staff to do yearly physicals and checkups.
Welcome!!! I'm Chrissy.
