  Yeah!  First check in for me!

  I'm on the antagonist protocol.  Because of hormonal issues (the reason for my IF -- abnormal/non-existant pituitary function) I have to trigger with lupron so I can't do any other protocol.

  My last bcp is on Saturday and I start stims on 3/5.  I'm hoping to have ER on 3/16. 

  I found out last week that IVF is not covered by my insurance so I thought I might have to it off.  But I talked to my doctor and he agreed to cut his fees.  So, now I'm back on track!

  DX: Him: Super sperm Me: Diminished pituitary function due to tumor removed April 2008, MTHFR Hetero C677T & A1298C
  IVF #1-4=BFN IVF #5=BFP! U/S on 5/3 revealed TWINS!

  QOTD:

  IVF#1: antagonist protocol, 20 eggs retrieved, 15 mature, 13 fertilized, 2 transferred on day 3, 5 frozen on day 6 (BFN)

  FET#1: thawed all 5, 2 didn't make it, transferred 3, 1 stuck (BFP!), but m/c @ 8 weeks

  IVF#2: long lupron protocol, 13 eggs retrieved, 7 mature, 4 fertilized, 3 transferred on day 3, none frozen, waiting for beta!

  Update on me: slowly going insane. Actually POAS last night even though I was only 5dp3dt so of course it was negative. Am trying to force myself to attribute any symptoms to the progesterone, and am failing miserably.

  QOTD - lupron, follistim, etc was my protocol....had 32 eggs retrieved, 22 fertilized, 4 made it to blastocysts.

   We did the antagonist protocol. we had 17 eggs retrieved and 16 fertilized!

  UPDATE:  Supression check went well. Starting stims tomorrow!!

  I did/am doing Long Lupron. With IVF #1 they got 15 eggs, 14 fertilized (1/2 ICSI, 1/2 natural). Transfered 2 5 day blasts and froze 3.

  QOTD: I did the antagonist protocol, and they got 13 eggs, 8 were mature and 7 fertilized. 4 made it to day 5, so we put 2 blasts in and froze the other 2 on day 6.

  ER is set for Saturday!! 

  QOTD: We did the antagonist protocol, and we're looking at 5 mature follicles at ER.  I'm disappointed in the number, but we're pushing forward and hoping for the best.
  

  After 2 years and 6 IUIs, we did it with IVF w/ ICSI!
  BFP with no treatment!

  Well I can't fully answer the question of the day yet.  I know I will call in on my next CD1.  Depending on when that is (I just started after a 46 day cycle!), they will tell me when to start BCPs.  I will start Lupron around 5/1 at 10 units continuing BCPs for another 5 days, then stopping BCPs and expecting my period a few days later.  At this time I'm move down to just 5 units of Lupron until trigger.  This whole time I will also take .75mg of Dexamethasone and my prenatal vitamins.  Around 5/12 I will start on Follistim until trigger roughly 7-10 days later based on my response.  My estimated ER/ET week is May 25th.  I will let you know how many eggs are retrieved and fertilized then...ICSI is automatically done at my clinic.

  Update on me:  My deposit was generously paid by my dad a couple days ago.  He told them not to call me until he told me...he wanted to surprise us!  I placed a call into them this morning and am waiting to hear back with further instructions.  We will decide how much else we want to put down this week or next since we want to start paying it down before we even technically cycle.

  QOTD: IVF #1 was a long lupron protocol. BCPs for 3 weeks, did 10 units of lupron a few weeks after we started BCPs until we began stims, then down to 5 units until retrieval.  Stims were Repronex and Gonal F, doses varied. After retrieval we did PIO shots and baby aspirin.  A few days after ET we began vivelle patches.

  Edited to add that we got 8 eggs of which 7 were mature.  5 fertalized and they put back 2 embies.  We have a grade A blast that we will be using for FET.

  FET #1 will be lupron, vivelle patches and PIO shots. Not sure on BCPs or baby aspirin, will know more as it gets closer.

  My beta is tomorrow and I feel like I'm going to vomit!  (Not as any kind of symptom, just b/c I'm scared and excited and going insane.)

   For both my fresh IVFs I was on Lupron, then Follistim and low-dose HSG.  I think I stimmed for 10 days both times and got around 21 eggs both times.  I can't remember how many fertilized, but the first time we transferred to 8-celled embies on day 3 and none made it to freeze.  The second time we transferred 2 4AA blasts on day 5 and 2 made it to freeze.  Last week we transferred a 4AA and a 4AB blast and at least one stuck!!!

  I have no idea what my protocol is called.

  I took BCP for 3 weeks and the added 20 units of Lupron.  I stop BCP on 2/28 and continue Lupron.  Get Lupron period.  Start stims and stim and lupron until I am told to stop Lupron.

   

  So right now I'm on the awful pill and lupron.

  QOTD - I am AMA with a diminished ovarian reserve.
  

  1st IVF - Long Lupron - 5 eggs mature 4 fertilized. 2 transfered. 1 made to freeze. 

  2nd - Antagonist - 11 retrieved, 9 mature, 8 fertilized. Transfered 2, none made it to freeze.

  This one - we are doing a combo of antagonist and estrogyn priming in hopes to get as many eggs as the last IVF but better quality. 

   

  A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
  After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
  My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

  GL ER. ETs and Betas this week and weekend!  Congrats to our latest BFPs.

  Status:  Stim check this morning went ok.  We got bad news on Tuesday on the estrogen report that not only didn't it increase, but it  dropped.  The RE thinks that we should start to see it increase based on how the follies looked this morning.  I am crossing my fingers and toes until the phone rings today.

  QOTD: Antagonist - 8 retrieved/4 fertilized, EPP 8 retrieved/7 fertilized.

  
  2 chem preg, 4 failed IUIs, 2 canc IVFs, 2 BFN IVFs, IVF #5 = BFP!!!
  3/23 Beta #1 @ 17dpo = 913, Beta #2 @ 19dpo = 1724, Beta #3 @ 21 dpo = 3240

  Hey, I just got back from my retrieval. They got 7 of my 9 eggs. My left ovary is hard to get to so we only expected the 7.  I go for my transfer on Sunday.

  I was on an estrogen priming antagonist protocol. I had 24 eggs retrieved and 20 fertilized. After a few days 17 were still growing.

  I had 9 frosties this cycle. But 3 of them seemed to be growing a bit slow. On Sat, they told me I had 6, and then Monday they called and said they froze 3 more.

  QOTD:  I don't know what the protocol was called, but I did BCPs, Lupron, then Follistim.  We are doing ICSI, so I am on Medrol and Doxycycline right now, as well as Progresterone. 

  ER was Tuesday, I had 18 eggs retrieved, 14 matured, and 10 fertilized.  I'll know tomorrow morning whether we're doing a 3 day or 5 day transfer.

  I am still checking in here, hope it's okay. I think I am going to call my IUI with donor sperm "the next step after you can't do any more IVF's".

  So I had my "next step" today. I never had an IUI (we had just moved straight to IVF two years ago) and I can't believe how easy and quick the procedure was! I am totally bloated and feel like crap, but am really feeling positive about the sperm from #2369 that *is* making it's way to my eggies as we speak!

  Congrats to the BFPs and good luck to everyone!

  My first ivf I was on antagonist and had 21 eggs retrieved and 10 embies using half ICSI. 2nd was long lupron, 28 eggs retrieved, 13 embies. This time back to antagonist and 20-ish eggs, update tomorrow No bfp's yet and pretty nervous about it.

  Update:  We had our calendaring today and I'll be starting bcps on 3/22 with a retrieval around the end of April/Beginning of May.  Yikes!  Now to start to arranging to pay for it since we're totally OOP.

  QOTD:  Sounds like either the lupron or micro-lupron protocol for me.

  IVF #2 Microdose Lupron 12 eggs retrieved, 8 fertilized, transfered 2 blasts on Day 5

   

  IVF #3 Microdose Lupron 13 eggs retrieved, 7 fertilized, transfered 3 on Day 3.

   

  IVF #4 Antagonist hopefully this will be my lucky  cycle.

  1.  I'm not sure of the protocol name that we used - sort of a stop lupron I guess?  (I stopped the lupron right when I started stimming.)  I'm a crappy responder, so we knew I wouldn't get much.  We ended up retreiving 8 eggs - 6 fertilized with ICSI.  4 of them made it to day 5 - we transferred in 2 Grade A Blasts and froze 2.  That ended in BFN.

  I started Lupron on Monday of this week for our FET cycle.  Transfer is scheduled for 3/23!

  QOTD:  IVF #1 on antogonist protocol. 18 eggs retrieved, 3 mature, 2 fertilized. 2 great looking 8 cell grade 1 embies transferred = BFN.

  IVF #2 protocol changed to Lupron (unsure of actual name of protocol, will find out more tomorrow).
