Has anyone heard of breathable (crib) mattresses?

My friend told me she saw something about a breathable crib mattress.  One where air can circulate through, to reduce the chance of SIDS. I'm not sure if she was confused, but I've never heard of this.  I've only heard of breathable bumpers.  Anyone know anything about this? Thanks.

    She must have been watching The Drs this morning:)~ Yes, they said there are breathable mattresses so if your baby does end up face down he/she and still breathe. They did not give a brand or anything.
