Great news!
My husband has not played Call of Duty for 2 weeks!!!
He used to play all the time, but he hasn't touched the game in a while. He says he's tired of it. Thumbs up to my hubby ![]()
Sorry ladies, just had to brag! I hope everyone's having a great evening!
Re: NBR- Wives of Gamers
I am impressed, luckily my DH doesn't have this game but his twin does, when he starts playing he literally could play for hours! But yes,
to your DH!

Baby BOY!
Mine doesn't have recording equipment but the guitar is constantly being played. Just one night, I would love to not have to turn the TV up above the guitar!
Can your hubby call mine???? My DH has been playing COD for 2 hours already....
I love the guitar - I used to fall asleep listening to my brother play it when I was little. What I don't love is DH locks himself in the office the second he gets home from work (between 2-4 hours before I do) and will stay in there even when I get home. I like the guitar but I don't like that it's started to become an obsession for him and he doesn't realize it. The time that I'm home from work til I go to bed, it's only 2 1/2 maybe 3 hours (the only time that we are both home at the same time during the day) and sometimes he doesn't come out the whole time. Seriously? He plays for a good solid, uninturrupted 2-4 hours before I'm home and he can't stop to spend some time with me!?! And he gets all defensive when I bring it up and just stays in there even longer. It makes me so sad and lonely some times.... I could cry right now :' (
This is a bummer. I'm sorry to hear that
I am also a musician, and I understand that it's really easy to get caught up while you're playing, but marriage is definitely all about balance. I hope he realizes that his wife needs some time.
Not at all! I think it's awesome when a couple can find something that they're BOTH interested in. I've tried my hand at shooters, but I'm terrible! The game we both enjoy playing is Little Big Planet. So much fun!
I would like to offer you my condolences on the loss of your husband. My DH began playing WoW in 2005 and continues to play to this day (literally...he's in the other room right now). A couple of years ago I played for awhile to spend time with him, but I quit because I got bored. He goes through periods of playing and not playing. He will stay up until 2 AM sitting at his computer. I told him that he got the night shift once the baby gets here!!
