I have a Honda Odyssey which I LOVE, but DH drives an Explorer. Since all four of our children will be in car seats/ boosters for a long time, he's going to need to get a new vehicle. Any ideas on a manlier version of a minivan? Something with a 3rd row? Thanks!!
Re: What's your baby-friendly car?
a subaru impreza WRX.
she's gonna be a rally baby
we're using DH's "baby" as the main ride because it has all-wheel drive and better crash ratings than my ford taurus.
I was going to post about the GMC Acadia too - I think those are very nice looking cars.
I drive a 4Runner (not giving this car up, it is my dream car!!) and DH has a 4 door Civic. He traded in his Nissan 350Z convertible back in October for a more family-friendly car. HA, didn't expect the little Civic but it works and is SO cheap.
i used to have a civic and it was the best! i miss it so much! when this hunk-o-junk ford is paid off, i'm so getting another honda!
We're trying to save for a down payment on a bigger house so we may end up buying DH's company car (Ford Focus) when he's up for a new one. But I'm still hoping for the Acadia!
We were looking at the new Mazda CX9 or the new Chevy Traverse. Both are crossovers but both have very spacious 3rd row seating.
I settled on the Dodge Magnum becuase it is more in budget now, but I would love either of those cars.
~ Hoping to add to our family by adoption via Connecticut DCF. Application submitted on 2/4/14. First home visit on 6/23/14. Started class 11/17/14.~
What about a Tahoe or Honda Pilot?
We have a Toyota 4Runner and it is fabulous! I think you can get them with a 3rd row seat but it might be a little tight with 4 car seats.
