Pap smear during pregnancy?

Does anyone know if there is any risk of a Pap smear during pregnancy? I am 29 weeks now. Sorry about no ticker, I still haven't figured out how to add it to my profile!

It is a common practice to have one at your first visit in the first tri, are you asking about one in 3rd tri???

I was due for my annual in December. My Dr. said they won't do it until my first PP appointment.

Yes, I am 29 weeks.

I had one around 10 or 11 weeks and then I think another around 30 weeks or so. There is no risk.

I got swabbed for something when I was 26 weeks, Im not sure what it was for.
