Clomid Side Effects

So I am starting Clomid today, just wanted to know any ideas about side effects, and how to help them. If there is such a thing.

My pharmacist suggested that I take it before bed becuase then any dizzy spells would not be at work or while driving.

Any other suggestions? TIA!!!

    I take my last pill of my first round tonight and the only thing that I have found is that I do get the flashes...Since I am usually moody I am not sure if that has increased...Good luck with it...

    I actually didn't feel much of anything on the 50mg of Clomid. They warned me of all kinds of things, but I didn't notice any real side effects. I'm already an emotional mess, so I don't think that really effected me, but maybe it did?

    I've heard of other people with horrible side effects, but I didn't experience that.

    I expereinced the "clomid crazies" during my 50mg dose but nothing with 100mg and 150mg. I noticed my temps were high in the morning when I was taking clomid but I didnt really have flashes. I did take it at night to try to minimize the s/e

    I had one mild hot flash the 2nd night of Clomid and I was somewhat moody. Definitely take it at night!

    I took mine right before going to bed so I wouldn't have to deal w/ any of the side effects. I think that helped. The only real side effect I had was lots of weight gain!

    I had hot flashes in the night and I think it heightened my already moody self. All were manageable, it was the Ovidrel shot that had me super dizzy and nauseous, that came from no where since I was so worried about the clomid hadn't even considered the trigger, ugh.
    TTC since July 2007 a year on our own, 7 IUIs spread out over 2 years, all BFN IVF attempt #1 - September - antagonist protocol, called off CD8 due too poor response IVF attempt #2 - November - called off on CD11 due to low estrogen IVF attempt #3 - started stims Jan 25th...converted/cancelled Jan 31st...SWITCHED BACK TO IVF Feb 3rd! ER Feb 7th...lets DO this! ET Feb 12th, Beta #1 141, Beta #2 356, u/s #1 hb 141 bpm, u/s at 7 weeks 1 day no hb, missed m/c. So sad. IVF #4 scheduled for June 2011, last chance, this is it

    I'm on my third night tonight and I get the Hot Flashes bad!!!! But very little dizziness~~Good Luck

    I took the last pill of my second round of Clomid today (50mg).  Last cycle I didn't really notice any side effects except that I had pretty major ovulation pain (which I didn't mind because I liked feeling like something was "happening.").  This cycle I have been really irritable all 5 days I've been on the Clomid, and I have also been a little bloated.  Nothing major though - I was expecting worse.

     

     

    *TTC since February 08* 2 IUIs that didn't take, exploratory LAP and hysterscopy in September 2010 that revealed nothing, means we're adopting! Preliminary paper work to agency & started home study in 11/10 Profiles to agency on 1/12/11 - Officially waiting!
