I hope this trend continues

Nathan?s been a great sleeper since around 3.5 months, usually waking just once a night for a bottle depending on when he last ate.  The past two nights, he?s eaten about 5:30, gone to bed at 7pm and woken at 6am.  I hope this continues and I hope the move to daylight savings time doesn?t mess this up too much.

Re: I hope this trend continues

  • Yeah for Nathan!! I am actually hoping Daylights savings helps us.  Ads goes to bed about 6:30-7ish and gets up at 6:30.  With the spring forward an hour I am hoping she stays up till 7:30-8ish and sleeps till 7!!  :)

  • I totally forgot about daylight savings time. ?Evie didn't have too much trouble with the time change in the fall. ?I hope Nathan is the same way.
  • Wow how nice for you. I hope it continues too. That is great.

This would be heaven!  For DH anyway. I'm up by 6 and at work by 7 so I'd get no advantage sleepwise, but more playtime in the evenings!

  • We are on the same time frame here.  I totallllly forgot about DST.  When is it?  I think I need to buy some blackout curtains for the nursery!!!

I need blackouts for Ben too.. he's starting to wake up earlier the last few days and I sure hope that's not a trend.

Ha!  I was thinking that as I posted.  This morning he woke at 5:30, but he went down at 6:15. I'm not complaining. Esp since DH go up to feed him so I could have the last half hour of sleep.

  • down at 6:15???? yikes.  I have a friend whose 2 year old still goes to bed around 6:30 and that would really kill me... my DH would never see him, and we'd never eat dinner together.    Does he always go to bed that early?

Isn't it funny how they seem to have their own time table?  Ben has always been a late one.  When he was 6 mopnths old, his bedtime was around 10:30PM.  I'm thrilled we are out of his room now by around 9:30, but man I would like him to go to bed at 8.  But still sleep til 8.  Which I think is asking too much.
