AW: 2nd appt = so freaking cool!!
We had our second, much anticipated appointment this morning. It mainly consisted of the NT scan, which we got to get recorded on VHS! It was AMAZING!!! Cosmo has grown so much (even measuring ahead about 4 days)--it's crazy to put the pic from the first appointment next to the pics we got this morning. He/She didn't want to turn the right way for the tech to measure the fold, so tech kept pushing my stomach, trying to get Cosmo to turn. Cosmo went crazy, wiggling all over, waving his/her tiny hands and feet, and generally pitching quite the fit. He/She stretched a lot (the nurse even said "wow, the baby likes to stretch that back!") and eventually got so irritated with the bumping that he/she turned her back to us and pouted a little. Eventually we got the measurement (measuring 1.1 mm) and Cosmo ended with a final picture saluting the camera, as if to say "glad I could help."
And we got to hear the heartbeat...measuring a very fast 176. I think I'm starting to form my guess on Cosmo's sex!!
Just had to share--we are on top of the world.

RSSN- I swear you are always a day ahead of me on the appointments- its so cool!! We were a day apart on our first appointments and now a day apart on our second ones!!
I can't wait for our second appointment! I can only imagine the high you guys are on right now!! Congrats on a wiggly baby!!

Yea! I'm so happy to hear the appointment went well, and that little Cosmo gave you a show. I mean, would you expect anything less from the Rssn Baby?! : )

YAYAYYA!!!! So exciting!!! You know what I think the sex is.... I still say boy!
I love the 2nd appt. It is incredible to go from the first and then see an actual baby in the 2nd. So happy you all got to see everything.
Well, I had always heard higher heartrate = girl, so I was leaning toward girl, but my clicky poll in the other post has me rethinking everything! LOL--looks like I'll be surprised either way!
