BFing just keeps getting easier

I tried lying down to BF this afternoon since I was dead tired and DD latched so easily.  Yay for a new position!

    Ditto - I am super lucky that DS will do any position and has mastered his latch so early on - thanks to a GREAT nurse during my recovery time at the hospital who taught me how to properly BF!

    I am eternally in debt to the many LCs we saw at the hospital.

    I'm glad that BFing is easy for you, but comments like "BF just keeps getting easier" are a little hard for some of us to handle.  I tried like crazy, went through tremendous guilt, and after weeks of bloody, bruised and scabbed nipples, went to formula.  So I truly am happy that things are going well for you.  But it makes me cringe when people talk about how easy BFing is.  It's not that easy for everyone.

     Sorry if that seemed out of line, but I'm having a "feeling a lot of guilt" day.

    I didn't mean to offend anyone - just celebrating b/c it's finally getting easier for me.  Believe me, it was very painful and hard at first since DD struggled with her latch.  It's still not as easy as some people write about, but it's getting better.

    it does seem out of line.  clearly she just meant it's getting easier for her.

    i don't see any reason why we can't celebrate each others successes on here as much as we support each other in our struggles.
