Baby Gagging... anyone else?

Okay, so Micah will sometimes just start gagging out of the blue.  It's usually when she's asleep and it doesn't depend on the position (in your arms, swing, bassinet, etc).  She'll gag once or twice and then just stop.  NO spitting up or anything.  She doesn't seem bothered by it -- doesn't even wake up, though it scares the you-know-what out of me.

So what's the deal?  Anyone else have this happen?

And yes, I will be asking at the pedi on Thursday.  It's just so strange.

    It's happened twice now. It has scared the crap out of me but she isn't bothered by it. Once she was in the bouncer and once it was lying flat in the bed. Wasn't even close to after a feeding either.

    I wonder if it's reflux that just isn't making it's way up any further ... that by sleeping, her muscles relax just enough for it to creep up but the gagging sends it back on down?

    I was thinking reflux too.  I've not had that happen, but I imagine it must be scary to see a tiny baby gag like that!
