any girls celebrate the "wood" year yet?
march 12th will be our 4th wedding anni and so far every year we've done the traditional gifts (1st yr paper, 2nd yr cotton, 3rd yr leather...etc). i'm stumped on the wood year.
i was thinking pencils with our wedding date engraved on them for his office, but then i thought that would be something he would give me instead.
any ideas?
Re: anniversary "wood" year
we only did the traditional gifts for year 1 and 2 then we kind of got lazy and just did regular gifts.... do a google search..that's what gave me ideas for year 1 and 2.
GL and happy early ann

thanks anyway
Chocolate strawberries, heck yeah! LOL
Well now you can be prepared for wood year LOL start brainstorming... Wooden watch holder? that one is a toughy!
awesome idea!!! thanks!
if its flowers and fruits...just call edible creations (i think that's their name), kill 2 birds w/one stone.
and as for wood, if your DH is into gadgets, PB has really great things to put away the phone and camera and be able to charge it. or what I always think is great, the old school razors w/the shaving soap (i think that's it). that it has a brush. those are really nice and the handles are sometimes wood.
thanks for the ideas! we have the day off that day so im actually taking out my handy dandy fondue pot for some fruit and chocolate, im also thinking of giving him a single rose or cookies shaped as flowers (michaels usually has cookie cutters in all sorts of shapes)! i love celebrating traditional annis!
heehee i'm a middle school boy at heart and i had lots of stupid jokes about the anniversary "wood" year lol sorry, no help here
let me guess....just grab a bow? lol i gotcha
i used to be REALLY crafty b/c i had all this free time on my hands - lately im embarrassed to say that i usually buy family member's birthday gifts and give it to them in the same bag i bought it in b/c i have no time to actually sit and wrap a gift
lol something to that effect. lol giving him wood for his anniversary *giggle*
i swear, it's amazing that i'm going to be a 27 year old mom. i act like a 12 year old sometimes
