PSA - BJ's Brand Diapers

So, while I loved the price of these diapers compared to Pampers or Huggies I was starting to suspect that these diapers were the cause fo Sophia's non-stop diaper rashes. They started only once we moved into size 5 so at first we thought it was the new class at daycare or heat rash from playing outside or we even suspected juice.

Since changing how we handed all of the above did not help we decided to test out not using them for a few days. We tested it out this weekend at Disney and used only Huggies. No rash. At all. Clear as clear can be. The cost savings are obviously not worth Sophia's discomfort.

Wanted to give you guys a heads up! While not all kids will have the same reaction I wanted to make you aware that some kids might. I am thinking that their absorbency is not what it should be and so the constant moisture caused the rashes.

  • Poor thing! I've definitley noticed a big diference between generic vs name brand diapers. I'm a Luvs girl after trying both Target and Publix brands with somewhat of the same constant diaper rash problems. Luckily, Luvs works for us because it tends to be a lot cheaper than Pampers and Huggies. Glad her tushie is feeling better!!!

  • I have tried twice to change to other brands and somehow Diego gets a rach as well on his back (where the pamper ends) most of the time. So I ended up wasting a few by trying so we are staying with Pamper. I hope to get him Potty Trained in the next few months that way we continue buying pampers for only one child.?
