My ILs are here this week, and I'm still in the two week period of not lifting anything above 15 pounds (DD and her carseat weigh about 17). I figure starting next week, I'll get out with her more. I also need to get a stash of pumped milk so DH can feed her so I can run out on my own. I'm dyinig to get my eyebrows done!
I work full time and my husband travels for his job so I end up being very "single mom" for 3-4 days a week. We have a pretty good system.
Every Sunday I go to the mall, to get a pedi or eyebrows done, get my hair cut, whatever as long as its "me" time. I take about 2 hours to just do whatever I want or need to do. During this time DH vacuums and dusts or does laundry while he watches golf and watches Little Man.
I hate watching golf and I need a few hours to myself so its a win-win situation. When I get home we cook dinner together and have more family time.
This Sunday though I brought Little Man with me because he loves going to the mall. Its an outside courtyard type mall and it was beautiful. So I took him shopping for new jeans in the BOB.
I have class three times a week, plus little errands here and there through the week. I'm about to start going back to the gym, so that will be another hour to myself 5x a week.
I usually get out for an hour or two on Saturday or Sunday. I meet up with friends for coffee or lunch or I do me errands that are best without a baby. We get out a good bit during the week together so I don't feel too constrained. DD travels great so I don't mind taking her to do most everything.
