A new pregnancy experience for DD

So I woke up this morning, rolled on to my back (don't tell 1st) and pulled up my shirt to look at my belly.  I put my hand on it to say a lazy good morning to the baby and realized (with much shock) that he/she was totally cozied into the left side of my ute.  I moved my hand and sure enough, I was lopsided!  It was so - surreal!  I've been feelings kicks and flutters for a long time, but to actually be aware of where the babe is when it's not moving...that was new for me.  DH got a big kick out of it, pushing on the right side of my ute and making "squishy" noises and then pushing on the left side and saying "Hi Baby!"  :)

    Was just gonna say the same thing! LOL. 

    DS was always crowded onto my right side - very strange to have a lopsided belly all the time! Now it's weird cause I only carry him on the left side. 

    My MW said (at the time) most babies like the right side for some reason...

    Aw how cute!

    I don't ever see myself lopsided because I'm huge but I do feel one side is harder than the other (which is secretly why I'm afraid of sleeping on one side...I always think I'm going to crush the baby LOL)

    dh and I were talking about that idea last night, whether gravity rules affect the baby, like if I'm standing up does it settle to the bottom, or if I roll over, does it roll to the same side...? I realized, like an egg, there will be some gravity effects... but your experience confirms our curiousity! Sounds like a fun start to your morning! :)

    awe! I can't wait for this! But I also have a lot of fat already so I may not be able to feel her positions until late later! lol
