If you did the Ferber Method

How long did you let your DC CIO the first night?  Ella has been crying for about 10-15 minutes after sleeping for about 20 and I feel awful.

    5 min, go in, pat back, don't pick up, leave within 2 minutes even if she is still crying

    10 min, go in and do the same thing

    15 min, go in and do the same thing

    Keep the max at 15 min until you get that down

    Once that is down, I started at 10 min, then 15 min, then 20 min

    I hope that makes sense?

    That makes sense, I have been going in after 5 minutes giving her her binky, rocking her with my hand on her belly, and repeating.  I picked her up and rocked her in the glider for about 3 minutes then put her back and she screamed for about 5 more minutes, now she is asleep, but that will last a total of 15 minutes.  Thanks Pam.

    Hang in there...its going to be a ruff few nights.  Pam was right...thats pretty much what I did....but I went past the 15 mins and did 30 a few times bc it got ruff haha.

    5 min, 10 min, 15 min, 20 min, and so on...  I hate to tell you, but it took 3 hours the first night...  30 min the second.. and now nothing..  He goes to bed a happy boy since November...  worth it, but hard...  set a timer...

    My mom said the same thing about me, it took about 3 nights and that was it. Working through those nights... tortured her! Sad
