I am looking to purchase a Medela pump. Has anyone purchased online? If so, where is the best price?

I saw some brand new in box on ebay....prices were def. cheaper, but unsure if you can send things right back to the manufacturer if anything goes wrong. I'm going to check with Medela I think.

? Will Medela honor the warranty if a product is purchased via Ebay? ?

Answer:

Medela will honor a warranty if the consumer has a receipt from a Medela authorized account. The receipt must have the name of the store listed on it in order to be valid. (Example: Baby Shoppe sold to Sue Smith, sale done on Ebay) If the customer only has a "receipt" showing the sale from Ebay (usually will have "sold by Baby Shoppe" bought by "Sue Smith") we would not be able to honor the warranty.

Thanks! I've also been checkin out our local hospitals, because you can sometimes buy them there at a cheaper price.

You have to call for pricing because Medela is weird about letting authorized dealers advertise their prices. Who knows why. But they are the cheapest.
