induction tomorrow - bleeding today? (tmi)

hey gals - i'm being induced tomorrow morning.  had an internal today and i'm bleeding.  if it's anything like the last internal i will be bleeding tomorrow too.  will they let me wear my panties w/ pad for a while?  make me just sit there and bleed?  i have to get over my bodily modesty, i know.  i figure by end of day tomorrow my modesty will be a thing of the past, so i've heard.  i'm just not sure how it will play out.  anyone experience this?  tia!

    they are going to put down a big absorbent mat that you are going to be laying on . . . . if you are going to be walking around then no problem i'm sure but if they are putting you on an  iv and giving you pitocin it won't matter you will just be on the bed on the absobent pad thing . . .  and you will have on th ehospital gown anyway . . . i went in bleeding and i had nubain to heklp sleep when i woke up my big mat/pad thingy was soaked (tmi sorry)  but thats what it is there for then they change it!

    Don't worry.....they will have lots of "chucks" pads down on the bed which they will change periodically during the day/night as you bleed when you are in labor anyway (or your water breaking, etc....)  And you'll be in a hospital gown, they expect it to get all gross!  (this is why I give advice not to use your own night gown for a day or two, use theirs!)

    thanks ladies!  i'm sitting here trying to play out the day in my head ( i need a hobby, i know) and i was worrying about that.  i appreciate it very much :)

    WOW! Congrats on your induction tomorrow! Hopefully everything goes smooth for you! Enjoy this last night... snuggle with your H ALL night long. I missed that the most :(
