I've gotten to the part where the lawyers question you to figure out who they want to be on the jury (twice). But I didn't end up being selected either time.
One of my co-workers has jurty duty today so that's what inspired this poll.

I was on a jury once when I was 21. I wanted to stretch it out one more day because I got paid to be on the jury, but I worked Friday - Tuesday and my jury duty started on a Wednesday, so I ended up just serving on my days off which sucked because I didn't get any extra time off - I just had no days off for two weeks. This was also back when you did two weeks straight, but of course I get picked for a jury within the first 20 minutes of the first day.
Never got picked, but had to talk to lawyers twice. ?One was a double murder, the other was a child molestation case. ?Glad I wasn't picked for either!

I was called for jury duty back in December. Sat in a room for 5 hours while all cases were settled out of court. I was reading a Sookie Stackhouse book at the time so it was no sweat. Took the rest of the day off.
I got the notice in the mail for jury duty, but when I called up, it was cancelled for that day.
TTC #2, Operative hysteroscopy March 2011; IVF #1 long lupron protocol April 2011-cancelled due to poor response; IVF #2 flare protocol May 2011=hospitalization due to abdominal hemorrhage during ER and no fert due to MFI issues. Moving onto international adoption from Moldova January 2013!
I've gotten called many times but the cases have always been cancelled by the time I get there. I have it again in April. Hopefully the same will happen.
I went last year. It was my first time and was picked to go through the rounds of questions by lawyers. I was not picked due to my working relationship w/ every police dept in the county and the State's Atty's office. I know too many detectives and ASA's. Fine by me, but I had to show up everyday and not get picked- a simple questionnaire would have ruled me out as a potential impartial juror.

Yes, I served on a jury last year and it sucked.
I went through the selection process about three times before I was chosen. So, for a while, I had to go in at least once every few months.
I was not impressed with my fellow jurors.
