Babies: 0 - 3 Months

boppy pillow Q's

How old was you little one when the could actually it straight up in a bobby on his/her own? I recently just started trying to put my boys in the bobby and they are just 3 months they fall back and to the side a lot. I read on a site you should have hem sit up ina bobby to help them do it on there own, is it okay that they cant do that yet. How and when did your little one do it. Also when was your little one able to sit on their own. these are my firsts so sometimes i worry i might not be doing enough, or be doing it right. any advice or tips would be great! :):)

Re: boppy pillow Q's

  • DD still can't do it on her own. I've tried and she just falls forward. She does great sitting supported in my lap but not so much with the boppy.

  • LOL i wonder why that is. they seem to do better in the lap too. Do you know when they should be able to sit up on their own completly?

BTW I LOVE YOUR SIGGY!! haha so adorable!

  • DD is just starting to sit with just holding onto my finger.?She can do it on her own for a few seconds, but that's it. ?Otherwise she falls forward or to the side.?
    ?

  • Sitting unassisted is not usually achieved until 5-6 months so you got plenty of time to go.  At 3 months they do get much stronger back and neck muscles and can sit with help.
  • DD can't yet but she has been trying to pull up from a laying down position as if she wants to sit up.
