I decided to switch from pockets to all-in-ones and hemp/wool for DD because she's so skinny that the pocket inserts were just bunching between her legs and leaking. I finally bought a wool cover (Baby Beehinds) and I lanolized it last night. It's been hanging to dry all day and it STINKS! It smells like a combo of wet dog and gasoline. I used Lansinoh that I melted in hot water then combined with cold water to lanolize the cover and I soaked it all last night. Did I over-lanolize it? Can it be fixed, or maybe is it supposed to smell like this and I'm overly sensitive to the smell?
