My dd has been having at least one diaper blowout every day. I have her in Pampers Swaddlers size 1 since that's the weight range she's in. Are other brands better at containing poop?
I don't have problems with Kirkland (costco) brand. You might try going up a size to see if it helps

Try going up a size. The weight ranges don't seem to correlate very accurately with the size babies need, from my experience at least. Whenever we start having a lot of blowouts we move up to the next size diaper and they stop. G/L!
The same thing was happening to me a week or so ago. Even though DS wasn't 12lbs yet he needed to be in size 2. He now hasn't had any blowouts. Give them a try.
Another vote for cloth... we use disposables when traveling, and have had regular blow-outs in Pampers, Huggies, and 7th Generation. But we use BumGenius at home (so 95% of the time), and haven't had a single blow-out in 4+ months with a breastfed baby.
She's about 10 lbs and the size 1's seem like they should be big enough to contain her. I still have 50 left...ugh! I do have the ruffles out and I center her bottom in between the ruffles on the inside. She just has some power poops!
Cloth diapers would be nice, but I can't be bothered with putting them in the wash all the time. Do they have disposable inserts?

DD had to move up to Size 2 and 10 lbs. I'm telling ya, try the next size up and it sucks because I had just bought a whole pack of size 1 diapers too. I'm going to give them to my friend.
I've heard with cloth you can wash every 2-3 days, I think? Maybe only every other day. I've got an order of bumGenius diapers on their way to me to try out. I'm interested in giving cloth diapers a shot!

We've never had a blow-out... not even close. And she has some seriously runny and powerful poos!?
Ditto this. My cloth diapers are the only diapers she hasn't blown out. We've used Pampers, Luvs and Huggies.

Nary a leak, pee or poop.
