IUI Success stories with 1 Egg?(SAIFW)

Despite all the positive follie growing vibes from you ladies on Friday(thank you) my lead follicle flourished but my other ones didn't. We triggered today with just one follie, which is a little disappointing. I am trying to remind myself though that fertile women release one egg a month and that "it only takes one" to get pregnant. Hopefully my little one is a rockstar! Any IUI success stories with just one egg? I need something to make me feel more hopeful...

I cant call myself a success story because I had a MC this week, my RE says it problably happened because of my age ( Im 41) and the stats. are high for MC over 40, but I only had one egg and 4 million sperm count for my IUI that did result in a positive.

I had 1 egg when we cycled last May and we got pregnant! And you're so right, it only takes one!

Wishing you all the luck, sweetie.

And I'll put this out there just because it might calm you a little bit: do not be discouraged by my m/c. I have a genetic disorder and that is the reason for our losses.

So, with that said - c'mon little eggie and spermies! GL! Can't wait to see your BFP post in a couple of weeks.

Thank you ladies for sharing your stories with me. I am so sorry about both of your losses- I cannot even imagine. I do appreciate hearing your stories though and wish you both the best of luck in your treatment. Hopefully there are BFPs and babies in all our near futures.

i don't have a success story but i just wanted to say that i know how you feel. i have only had 1 good follie each cycle and we are doing TI, not IUI, so our chances are even slimmer... but like you said, normally there is only one egg released so we just have to hope that it's "the one"!!

I just got my BFP on Friday with IUI #2 and only 1 mature follicle. ?I was shocked - I had been disappointed that we only had one egg at trigger and i figured no way that it would work. ?My first beta was 120 and I go for my second tomorrow. ?It can definitely happen. ?Good Luck to you.
