berty re: moby wrap

so i got one.  i took it out of the package and washed it. now it sits on the table, with this ginormous "instruction" book and i sit and stare at it.  i'm completely overwhelmed by it. 

how the heck do you use it and how did you learn how to do it without giving up on it?

    butting in: I don't have mine yet (I am making my own).

    But I pulled up video's on Utube and watched how to use it. Try that- it may help.

    I second the youtube videos idea.  Honestly, once you learn the basic wrap, it's not that difficult!  You can do it!  At first, I started with a stuffed animal to practice with, but it wasn't much different with the baby.  Pick one hold (Allison really liked the Newborn Hug Hold) and go for it! Now, go practice and the PIP!

    I got the Ultimate Baby Wrap and it took me forever to watch the video, but I wish I had done it sooner! ?It is the best thing ever! It sounds really complicated to put on, but once you figure it out it's easy. ?It just takes a few minutes, but it's worth it for hands-free happy baby. ?

    I'm butting in but just to say that I FINALLY washed my moby and tried it for the first time this week and I sooooooooo wish I would have tried it earlier.  Natalie loves it and so do I.  I am sad that I missed out on a month of it and I might have gotten more done instead of sitting holding her.  I watched a few youtube videos of it and got the hang of it.  It still takes me a minute to get it on but I'm so glad I just put it on - and it was all thanks to berty's encouragement!!  GL!
