Katie is here!
Katie arrived Monday morning weighing in at a petite 5lbs 14oz and measuring 19 inches. She has SO much dark hair and she is just beautiful.
I had a smooth delivery after 13 hours of labor (my water broke sunday night) and although I ended up not going med free like I had wanted, I am not disappointed in the least because everything went so well. I pushed for a little more than an hour (although it felt like an eternity).
2 of my favorite midwives were on call (Amanda when I went in to labor and Christy for my delivery) and I could not be more happy with the nurses I had for L&D.
We are home and finally rested and doing well. My milk came in fully yesterday and Katie is a really good nurser and sleeper so far.
