Space saver highchair question

I have a regular highchair that I used with DD.  We have small kitchen and it took up a lot of room.  I am thinking of selling the regular highchair and getting a space saver one. Which one do you recommend?

  • I've used the reclining feeding seat from The First Years for both Alexander and Christopher.  I love it.  It's the only seat I ever needed for A, and the same is holding true for C.
  • We ditched the high chair at 10 months or so and switched to the FP healthy care booster. SO much better - he sits right at the table with us, it takes up no space, easy to clean, etc.

  • Fisher Price Space Saver high chair.

It goes from reclined infant to toddler booster, is easy to clean, and cheap. It's about $50.

  • We also had the Space Saver from Fisher Price.  I loved it as a high chair, and will use it again with #2 (whenever that is...)

The only thing I didn't like about it was that once you turned it into a booster, the 'arms' of the seat met right up against the underside of our table, so you couldn't push the chair in all the way.

We ended up getting the cheapo booster from Target.  But our table has a slight underhang (or whatever you call that) on the edges, so that issue might not happen with everyone.

Ditto.  We're still using our highchair with the tray, and its disappointing that the arms of the chair don't fit underneath our table and he can eat right at the table.  Cuz that's what he's ready to do!
